This tour takes you to some of the most beautiful cities in Cuba. Two full-day tours in Havana, tours of Trinidad and Cienfuegos, visits to the monuments of Santa Clara, and a day of walks or rest in the breathtaking mountains of the Escambray.
Arrival Day
Arrive Jose Marti Airport, Havana and transfer to your homestay in the heart of the city. We’ll all meet up for dinner.
Day 1
Walking Tour of Old Havana. Famous for its elegant squares
, this tour will take you to three of the most famous. We will make our start at Havana’s famous Cathedral, visit the home of the Captains General
(now the city’s museum), walk on to the splendid church of San Francisco, and complete our tour in Plaza Vieja amid the craftsmen and galleries. On the way we’ll find time to stop for gallery or studio visits, and sometimes explore a side street
. Your tour is led by one of Havana’s leading architects who is intimately involved in the restoration of Old Havana.
We’ll take a break for lunch and enjoy some people watching. At the end of our tour we’ll leave time to explore the craft market, which is a jumble of colour and excitement near the Cathedral square.

Day 2
Tour of the museums and galleries of this World Heritage city. While Havana is home to some major collections, it is also home to hundreds of small galleries, artist studios and impromptu galleries. Together with your guide, you’ll explore this exciting arts scene with visits to public galleries and private homes.
A lunch break will give you time to explore some of the interesting developments of Cuban art with our expert.

Day 3
Leave for Trinidad. Free afternoon Trinidad’s famous beaches are a short ride away. Or just enjoy the cobbled streets, music and colour of this Heritage City.

Day 5
Leave for Cienfuegos
, your architect guide will take you to the centre of this French-Haitian City where we will tour the landmarks which make it famous. The central square is surrounded by elegant colonial architecture. A 19th century theatre still in use and still with most of the original accoutrements.
Enjoy a a 20th century Palace with one of the most spectacular dining rooms

). A visit to the rooftop bar will provide us with another panoramic view of the city and the bay. We will take a stroll past some of the old mansions
along the waterfront. Lunch during your tour.
Return to Trinidad.

Day 6
Leave for Havana The drive will take us through the breathtaking Escambray mountains. Where possible we will stop for photographs.
Santa Clara where we will visit the famous the New Monument to Che Guevera
and other monuments to the battle of Santa Clara is the site of the last battle of the revolution. The centre of the city is a beautiful colonial square, our guide will take us to the some of these beautifully restored monuments to the age when sugar was king.
