Walking Tours of Cuba

Cuba Beyond the Beaches’ program of Mountain, Country and City Walks is designed for those who like an active holiday, but also enjoy knowledgeable guides, good food and friendly accommodations.

These programs are designed for smaller groups. If you are interested in an individual experience please contact us.

This year’s programming is:

Sierras & Revolutionary Trails – 4 NIGHTS AND 5 DAYS of hiking in the Sierras. Total 8 nights. Climb Cuba’s highest peak, experience some of the remotest areas in this unspoiled island. This trek is mule supported where possible and is accompanied by a naturalist and trek co-ordinator.

Sierra Short Hike – 2 NIGHTS AND 3 DAYS of hiking in the Sierra. Total 6 Nights. Climb Cuba’s highest peak, experience some of the remotest areas in this unspoiled island. This trek is mule supported and is accompanied by a naturalist and trek co-ordinator.

City and Mountain – 1 WEEK exploration of Santiago de Cuba, and the Sierras. City walks are accompanied by a historian, or architect. These walks are generally accessible and can be vehicle supported. Eco-walks are on gentle mountain slopes and are accompanied by naturalists.

City and Coast – 1 WEEK exploration of Santiago de Cuba and the Coastal area’s micro-climates. City walks and tours are accompanied by a historian, architect, and other professionals. City walks are generally accessible and can be vehicle supported. Eco-walks are on gentle mountain slopes, or by boat, and are accompanied by naturalists.
